This interactive sound sculpture uses a launchpad to create rhythmic sequences. These are programmed in Max/msp, which communicates the sequences to an arduino. The arduino turns relays on and off which control the power to the kitchen appliances. Simultaneously, max/msp communicates with the RGB leds via DMX, which shines the corresponding lights to active appliances. This was a small project imagined for a kitchen themed experimental music/art event.
This was featured at the Slow Down event at Studio 106.
