Interactive sound installation featured at the 2018 Soundpedro event in Angel's Gate Cultural Center. This interactive piece uses proximity, arrangement, and my ongoing exploration into sensory boundaries. Two “sound” boxes (each containing arduinos which produce the sounds, speakers, and a button for changing the sound) are placed around LED strips. The strips have microphones which detect sound amplitudes and apply them to the brightness of the LEDs via arduino and dmx technologies. The sound boxes’ proximity and sonic qualities create various patterns from the hanging LED strips.
